Carlos was born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Mexico and South America. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University and with his law degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He is licensed in New Mexico and Nevada.
During his last year in law school, Carlos learned to love immigration law while working at the school’s immigration and human rights clinic.
Carlos joined Bighorn Law four years ago and qualified hundreds of personal injury cases in Las Vegas before joining the immigration practice group. In January 2020, he relocated to Salt Lake City to handle the firm’s deportation defense department in Utah. Carlos loves this work and couldn’t be prouder to be an immigration attorney.
